I paint women in worlds shaped by their own thoughts, feelings and imagination. I am interested in how our inner state influences the way we see the world, and why the same reality can look entirely different to each of us.

In my work, I explore individual perceptions of reality, where the imagined can take on a tangible form and the impossible can feel completely natural to the woman experiencing it. Through female figures, I create situations in which the boundary between the familiar and the unfamiliar is shaped not by external circumstances, but by the way each woman perceives what is happening around her.
